Victoria Ann Castillo

Victoria Ann Castillo, 67, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021. She was born on August 31, 1953, in Beaumont, to Regina Manriquez and Jose “Sylvester” Rivera. Victoria worked in human resources for The Salvation Army. She had a big heart, she was a mom to everyone. They called her “La Jefa.” Victoria was known by many people.

Survivors include her son, Augustin “Augie” Torres, Jr; daughter, Angelica Torres and her husband, Pedro Reyes; son, Armand Torres, and his spouse, Kimberly Peveto Torres; grandchildren, Ashley Torres; Josefina Hernandez and her husband, Francisco; Marilyn Reyes-Torres; Alejanra Reyes-Torres; and Elias Torres; step-grandson, Anastacio “Tachito” Ray Acosta; great-grandchildren, Aniyah Grigsby; V’ianni Hunter; Evelyn Hernandez; and baby Francisco Hernadez, Jr. on the way; brothers, David Rivera and his wife, Irma; Reggie Rivera and his wife, Lynn; and Alex Rivera; numerous nieces and nephews, and father of her children, Agustin Torres, Sr.

A Rosary for Mrs. Castillo will be recited at 5:30 p.m., with a gathering of family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Broussard’s, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
