Vincent Patrick Caldronia

March 17, 1950 - May 21, 2023

Vincent Patrick Caldronia, 73, of McKinney, Texas died Sunday, May 21, 2023.  He was born March 17, 1950, in Beaumont, Texas to Tony Caldronia and Major Meaux Caldronia.  Vincent proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He lived most of his married life in Nederland, Texas until 2008 when he and Jerri moved to North Texas to be close to kids and grandkids.  He retired from Dupont Beaumont in 2008 after twenty-eight years of service.

Vincent had a lifelong love for classic cars, remote control airplanes, aviation/space, and everything requiring tinkering.  Classic rock music being played at high volume in the car never lost its appeal for Vince and anything spotted in the air while driving got his immediate attention, to the eternal consternation of his family. In retirement Vince and Jerri enjoyed camping and visited most of the Texas State Parks, along with other parks in Colorado and Arkansas.

Vince is survived by his wife of fifty years, Jerri Wilson Caldronia, of McKinney; his son, Brian Caldronia and wife, Bethany of Rockwall, Texas; daughter, Jenifer Williams and husband, Jason of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Adam and Kate Williams of Allen, Texas; sister, Diana Scheier and husband, Larry of Houston; and seven nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Adonia Franks.

There will be visitation and an informal memorial service from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.  Family members will honor Vincent by sharing some of their memories and thoughts about Vince beginning at 5:00 p.m.  Others are invited to share memories if they wish.

If anyone wishes to honor Vince with a donation in some way, his family suggests Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, 2914 Swiss Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75204 as a worthy recipient.
