To know Virgil is to know his character. Family first! I think how blessed his children were to be raised by him and Sylvia. To be taught their values and to experience their love into adulthood. Rest In Peace Virgil. Your energy will always be around.

I am saddened to learn of the loss of Mr. Virgil Downs, Sr.. He was such a kind and caring gentleman. My late husband, Judge G.R. “Lupe” Flores, respected Mr. Downs for all he did to help those in need. He always enjoyed visiting with Mr. Downs and helping him help others. I had the pleasant experience to be on the receiving end of Mr. Downs kindness this past Spring. He was a true blessing! My heartfelt condolences to Virgil’s wife and family. Prayers for you all as you begin life without this wonderful man.
