Wayne Whitmire

Wayne Olan Whitmire, 79, of Evadale, died Sunday, July 26, 2020. He was born on February 18, 1941, in Evadale, to Roblean Etue Whitmire and Milam Ray Whitmire.

Survivors include his children, Frankie Whitmire and his wife, Patsy, of Oklahoma City; Terri Scalisi and her husband, Nathan, of Sulphur, Louisiana; and Kaye Sherman and her husband, Lee, of Hemphill; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ferbie Jean Fountain Whitmire.

A graveside service for Mr. Whitmire’s family and friends will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Morse Cemetery, Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
