Weldon William Kaspar
Weldon William Kaspar, 99, of Beaumont, died Friday, February 27, 2026. He was born on April 12, 1926, in Thorndale, to Alma Iselt Kaspar and Edmond Kaspar, and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps.
Weldon was very highly respected in the community, member of St. John Lutheran Church, and a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church in Orange. He retired from Dupont in Orange and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughters, Carolyn Richards and her husband, John, of Conroe; Gail Martin and her husband, Tommy, of Cheek; Helen Gipson and her husband, Grant, of Orange; daughter, Tina Meriwether and her husband, Hershel, of Austin; son, Earl Kaspar and his wife, Sharon, of Mauriceville; daughters, Joyce Mierschin and her husband, James and Marlene Meador and her husband, Michael, all of Austin; daughter-in-law, Mary Kaspar of Houston; brother, Donald Kaspar and his wife, Barbara, of Huntsville; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 7 siblings; son, Hank Kaspar; and grandson, George Gilliland.
Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of one’s choice.
A gathering of Mr. Kaspar’s family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2955 South Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2312 Irving Street, Orange, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

So sorry. He was so loved by his family. Such a nice man. He would check on me when I was sick.
So sorry to hear of Uncle Weldon’s passing. He lived a good long WONDERFUL LIFE!! He was a man of God and that lives through all of his children. I am sure he is up in heaven entertaining everyone with his accordion !!
