Wesley King, Sr., 78, of Winnie, died Thursday, November 26, 2020. He was born on December 26, 1941 to Mary Jannise and Emery Carl King, in Anahuac, Texas.

Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Betty King, of Winnie; children, Erwin and his wife, Cindy; Evette and her husband, Bob; Wes and his wife, Robbie; and Tony and his wife, Darla; siblings, Joe and his wife, Jackie and Julia and her husband, Lonnie; grandchildren, Krista, Tanner, Tye, Shelly, Luke, Cari, Weston, Jessica, Devin, Shannon, and Dustin; and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, David; and grandson, Kyler.

A gathering of Mr. King’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2020, at First Baptist Church, 117 Van Ostrand Lane, Stowell, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind, 11 Penn Plaza, Suite 300, New York, New York, 10001.
