William “Bill” Wallace

June 4, 1952 - December 5, 2024

William “Bill” Wallace, age 72, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Wallace; his devoted daughter, Christina Morris and her husband, Don Morris, and their children, Sydney and Luke Morris; his brother, Rodney Wallace; as well as a large extended family and many cherished friends. Bill’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory and legacy will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to have shared in his life.

Born on June 4, 1952, Bill led a life full of love, laughter, and dedication. He was a man of great character, always ready with a helping hand, an open heart, and a kind word. Bill’s career in the printing industry spanned several decades, primarily focused on newspaper sales and publishing. His work took him to different cities across the country, and along with his beloved wife Karen, he embraced the opportunity to explore new places, meet new people, and make lasting memories.

Those who knew Bill best knew him as someone who was always there when you needed him, a dependable friend, and a loyal family man. Bill had a special talent for grilling and cooking, many cherished gatherings were spent enjoying his famous barbecued meals. He was known for his love of music, especially the timeless songs of The Beatles, and his ability to bring people together with his easy-going nature and quick wit. Whether he was tending to the grill, relaxing at the beach, or listening to his favorite tunes, Bill enjoyed all the pleasures of life, and he shared that joy generously with others.

Bill’s love for his family was unwavering, and he gave everything he had to those closest to him. He was an extraordinary husband to Karen, always supportive, loving, and attentive. To his daughter Christina, he was a constant source of guidance and unconditional love. He adored his grandchildren, Sydney and Luke, and cherished every moment spent with them. Bill’s kindness, generosity, and selflessness left a profound mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Bill. You will be forever missed, and your legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved you.

Mr. Wallace’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

    Known Bill since the 3rd grade. Lived close by in Chattanooga. Spoke with him a couple of months ago. Texas, grandkids and music, which we both loved since 1964. This one hurts, God Bless.

    Bill and I met in 1963 in Chattanooga, TN in the 5th grade class of Ms Eblen. There were not enough desks so we shared a table at the front of the classroom. We’ve been friends ever sense. He will definitely be misses by all that knew him.

    Bill was a kind and gentle soul. From the first moment we met until the last time we spoke, i knew he was my friend. He will be forever missed by me and my family.

    I loved Bill for many reasons but the most was his dedication to my sister. His goal in life was to take care of her and whatever she needed, and he did. Bill loved cats, gadgets and Bloody Mary’s. He and Kenny enjoyed many a toast to a good Bloody Mary. We have such great memories with Bill and he will be miss so much.
