My friend Wilmer, "Will", "Willie" & I first met when I was 23, working in my art studio in Pt. Neches. Five years later, when I was a starting carpenter, he remembered me, took me in & taught me everything I know Will was a problem solver, an excellent craftsman, artist, designer, and the hardest working man I ever knew. Will would always jump out in front to perform the most dangerous tasks, pushing others out of his way. Will had all of the best Christian qualities & would not allow himself to be anything else. He loved his wife, every member of his family, & his God and had high hopes & prayers for everyone else. Will took care of his employer, customers, co-workers , & especially me. My heart is with Will, June, his family & all that loved him. I know he is with his God.
