Zachary “Zac” Morris

October 6, 2005 - April 30, 2025

Zac Morris, 19, passed away April 30, 2025, leaving behind a quiet but powerful legacy of love, loyalty, and determination. Born on October 6, 2005, Zac may have seemed distant or reserved to those who didn’t know him well—but to his family and close friends, he was a deeply caring and dependable young man with a strong spirit and a kind heart.

Zac had a quiet strength about him. He wasn’t one to talk much, but his actions spoke volumes. He loved his family fiercely and found joy in the simple things—time outdoors, football, lifting weights, and working hard. He had a deep appreciation for earning money, even if he rarely liked to spend it.

Zac was proud of the opportunities he found while working offshore and showed a true curiosity and work ethic in everything he did. He always wanted to learn more, always wanted to do more, and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His goal this year was to own his own boat—a dream that reflected both his ambition and love for life on the water.

Zac will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, his quiet yet genuine presence, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled, but his memory will always be held close in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his mother, Monica Morris of Warren; father, Travis Morris and his wife, Summer, of Lumberton; sisters, Kayden Morris and her fiancé, Kamrin Frankens and Aynslee Morris; niece to be, Kamden Frankens; nephews, Asa Frankens and Rowen Frankens; and numerous extended family, coworkers, and friends.

A gathering of Zac’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fellowship Cemetery, Warren.
