Tonya Kay Smith

Tonya Kay Smith, 44, of Nederland, died Friday, March 17, 2017. She was born on July 9, 1972, in Nederland, to Lurline Mary Crader Smith and Elbert Edward Smith. Tonya enjoyed being with family. She was always smiling and laughing, and would light up any room she was in.

Survivors include her daughters, Londin Moles and Shelby Moles of Nederland; son, James Scott Foster, Jr. of Galveston; mother, Lurline Smith of Nederland; father, Elbert Edward Smith, of Jasper; brother, Jesse Smith of Nederland; and niece, Amber Deckard of Nederland.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Smith and Roland Deckard; and grandson, Lane James Wactor.

A private family committal for Ms. Smith will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
