Jayme graduated from Hamshire-Fannett High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Development from Texas A&M University. In 2016, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from Rice University. Jayme currently serves on the board at Shorkey Center. Jayme represents the fifth generation to operate Broussard’s and serves as Secretary-Treasurer on the board of directors.

A graduate of Hamshire-Fannett High School, Blue earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Sam Houston State University.

He joined Broussard’s in 2005 and went on to graduate from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston in 2006. As a fifth-generation member of the Broussard family, Blue continues the proud family tradition of service and currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors.

Blue is a past president of both the Texas Funeral Directors Association and the Southeast Texas Funeral Directors Association. He is also a former board member of Some Other Place and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the Membership Committee.

Jim graduated from Forest Park High School in 1977 and earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Service from Commonwealth Institute-Houston in 1979. Jim is a past president of Southeast Texas Funeral Director’s Association and past board member of Texas Funeral Director’s Association. He was a member of the founding DMORT team (Texas Disaster Response Group), past president of Boys Haven of America, past board member of the Rotary Club of Beaumont, past chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas, past president of Beaumont Main Street, and past president of the Tyrrell Historical Library Association.

He is a current member of the Independent Cattleman’s Association and the Rotary Club of Beaumont. He serves on the board of the West Jefferson County Municipal Water District and Beaumont Main Street. Jim has a passion for local and area history and is carrying on the ranching traditions started by his great-great-grandfather, Sevenne Broussard. He represents the fourth generation to operate Broussard’s and serves as President on the board of directors.

James “JR” Rawlings, a Connecticut native , has had the privilege of being affiliated with the some of the industry’s premier firms, from the Baltimore/Washington, DC Metropolitan corridor, to Houston and San Antonio, before joining Broussard’s.

James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology from Towson University in Maryland, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science from Briarwood College in Connecticut. He is a member of the Academy of Funeral Service Practice and a lifelong member of Christ Episcopal Church in New Haven. In his spare time, he enjoys maintaining personal fitness, traveling, and reading.

James is honored to serve the families of Southeast Texas and to be apart of this community.

Meagan graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School in 2011. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from Lamar University in 2017. After working for a time in the healthcare field, Meagan followed her passion for caring for others into funeral service, graduating from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 2020 with an Associate of Applied Science degree.

Meagan currently lives in Beaumont with her wife and their many pets. She works primarily at our Major Drive location. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, roadtripping, and watching history documentaries.

Steve was born in Nederland and is a longtime resident of Silsbee. He graduated from Silsbee High School. Steve worked at Brookshire Brothers for twenty-two years before attending Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston. Steve has served in several capacities in the following organizations: Hardin County Rotary Club, Silsbee Kiwanis Club, Silsbee Chamber of Commerce, YMBL, and he was a charter member of The Kountze Lions Club. Steve has served as managing funeral director at our Silsbee location since it’s opening in October 2004.

Micah Dobbs earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Service from Commonwealth Institute–Houston in 2017 and has been dual licensed with the State of Texas as a funeral director and embalmer since 2018. Her calling to funeral service was inspired by her late father, Steven M. Dobbs, also a funeral director, whose compassion and dedication to serving families in their time of need made a lasting impression on her. Witnessing the comfort and healing that thoughtful service can bring motivated Micah to continue that legacy with care and purpose.

A long-time resident of Southeast Texas, Micah feels deeply connected to the Golden Triangle community and considers it an honor to serve local families with compassion and respect. Outside of her professional role, she is a proud mother to one beautiful daughter and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.

Micah is actively involved in her community through several organizations. She is a member of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the Southeast Texas YPO, where she has served on the Steering Committee since 2021. She is also a graduate of the 2021–2022 Leadership Beaumont Program and participated in the 2022–2023 Chamber of Commerce Mentee Program. Additionally, Micah serves on the Steering Committee for Go4theBell, supporting local families affected by pediatric cancer, and for the Southeast Texas Cattle Baron’s Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society. She is also proud to serve as a Lady in Red for the United Way.

A native of Duncan, Oklahoma, Roger was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas where his education included elementary school through his completion of college at Midwestern University with a degree in Mass Communications and minors in Speech and Physical Education.   While attending college, Roger began his working career in Television Broadcasting as a weekend news photographer and reporter.  As the years went by, he was promoted to Production Manager, and later to Promotions Manager at KFDX-TV3, the NBC affiliate in Wichita Falls.

Roger left the broadcasting industry for a brief period to serve as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, Roger returned to north Texas where he was offered a position with station KAUZ-TV6 in Wichita Falls as Operations Manager.  Eventually, Roger was transferred to Southeast Texas to serve as Station Manager of KBMT-TV12 from 1982 until 1986.  While at channel 12, Roger met his wife of 30 years, Patricia.  For the next few years, Roger and Patricia were entrepreneurs owning and operating their own small business in Lubbock.  After selling their business, the Hensley family returned to Southeast Texas.  Roger is a licensed funeral director, is an avid volunteer in the community and serves on the Executive Board of the Nederland Chamber of Commerce serving as Vice Chairman in 2017 and  Chairman in 2018. He is also a member of the Mid-County Noon Optimist Club. Roger has been an integral part of Broussard’s for over twenty years.

Helen graduated from Evadale High School and went on to attend the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services, where she graduated with her Certificate in Funeral Directing. Helen joined Broussard’s in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant and currently serves at our Silsbee location. In her spare time, she enjoys attending Order of The Eastern Star meetings, playing with her dogs, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Helen resides in Buna.

Barry grew up in Nederland, Texas and graduated from Nederland High in 1983. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Communication at Lamar University before pursuing a career in funeral service at the Commonwealth Institute of Houston. He has been with Broussard’s Mortuary since 1996. Barry is a licensed ham radio operator, enjoys vintage autos, and is an animal advocate (he and his wife, Laure, have several “fur kids“). He was a longtime member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge Greater Houston #6.

Taylor joined Broussard’s in 2007 as a part-time Administrative Assistant at our Kountze location. He graduated from Silsbee ISD in 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at Lamar University in 2013. Following graduation, Taylor went full-time as an Administrative Assistant serving our families in our Nederland location until June of 2019, when he accepted the job title as Broussard’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator. In June of 2021, Taylor graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services with a Certificate in Funeral Directing. He is now a funeral director at our McFaddin location. In 2022, Taylor earned a Certificate of Achievement from the Dale Carnegie Course-Skills for Success.

Taylor faithfully attends the Lighthouse Church in Silsbee where he is involved in various ministries. He is also a baseball coach for Evadale Little League. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Kacy graduated from Sabine Pass High School and went on to earn an Associate of Arts Degree from Lamar State College Port Arthur. She joined Broussard’s in 2014 in Nederland as an Administrative Assistant. Kacy graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service with honors in 2023. She now assists families at our McFaddin location as both an Administrative Assistant, and a licensed Funeral Director. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, Lainey and Lawson, shopping, and reading.

Burton grew up in Arkansas and then attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, as well as Lamar University. He earned his Funeral Directing and Embalming license as well as a degree in Business Administration. In his spare time, Burton enjoys bowling, and he currently resides in Port Neches.

Greg graduated from Alpha and Omega Publications High School. He is a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of China. In his spare time, he enjoys playing piano and guitar, barbecue cookouts, and spending time with his family.

Kassandra graduated from Goose Creek Memorial High School then went on to attend Lee College and Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, earning an Associates in Applied Science for Funeral Director and Embalmer. She currently calls Orange, Texas her home. Kassandra joined Broussard’s in 2025 as a full-time Funeral Director Apprentice. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and crafting.

Scott graduated from Nederland High School and went on to attend Lamar State College Port Arthur and the Commonwealth College of Funeral Service, where he successfully obtained his Funeral Directing and Embalming license. In his free time, Scott enjoys working with his bees and fishing. He is also a member of El Mina Shrine, Galveston, and rides in the mini patrol. Scott currently resides in Nederland.

Chelsey graduated from Hamshire-Fannett High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University. She joined Broussard’s in 2010, as a part-time receptionist. In 2011, she joined us as a full-time Administrative Assistant at our Major Drive location. In her spare time, Chelsey enjoys running and traveling.

Zoe graduated from Hamshire-Fannett High School and currently resides in Nederland. She joined Broussard’s in 2026 as an Administrative Assistant. In her spare time, Zoe enjoys traveling, reading, playing games with friends and family, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.

Jael graduated from Lumberton High School in 2015. She joined Broussard’s in October of 2019 as a full-time receptionist at our Major Drive location. She is currently an administrative assistant at our McFaddin location. In her spare time, she enjoys entertaining friends and family, or curling up with a good book.

Memphis is a fifth-generation resident of Hardin County with a professional background in legal and administration. She attended Lamar University, where she studied Criminal Justice, and Lamar State College Port Arthur, where she studied Paralegal Studies. Memphis joined Broussard’s in 2026 as an Administrative Assistant.

She resides in Silsbee with her husband and their two cats, Boss and Digit. Outside of work, Memphis enjoys spending time with her children and grandsons, watching crime documentaries, thrifting, preserving generations of family heirlooms and photographs, and decorating her home.

Amy attended Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School and began her career in the Southeast Texas workforce shortly thereafter. She joined Broussard’s at our Silsbee location as an Administrative Assistant in 2024. In her spare time, Amy enjoys shopping and gardening. She currently resides in Lumberton.

Ari graduated from West Brook High School and calls Beaumont, Texas her home. She joined Broussard’s in 2025 as an Administrative Assistant at our Nederland location. In her spare time, Ari enjoys crocheting and relaxing with a good movie.

Alex graduated from Lumberton High School and currently resides in Beaumont, Texas. She attended Lamar University. Alex joined Broussard’s in 2025 as a full-time Administrative Assistant at our Winnie location. In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good book and spending time with her family.

Krsti, originally from Wichita, Kansas, graduated two years early from Belford High School in 2006. She joined Broussard’s in 2016 as the primary custodian of our Major Drive location, before accepting the position as our Major Drive receptionist in October of 2021. Krsti graduated with an Associate’s Degree of Art in General Studies. She is currently enrolled at Lamar Institute of Technology for an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Health Information Technology.

Angelica is a resident of Beaumont and graduated from Central High School in 2016. She joined Broussard’s in 2025 as a part-time Receptionist at our Major Drive location, and now works as the full-time receptionist at the McFaddin Avenue location. In her spare time, Angelica enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

Courtney graduated from Lumberton High School in 2005 then earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2009 from The University of Texas at Tyler.  She joined Broussard’s Human Resources Department in June of 2015.  She currently resides in Lumberton, TX with her husband, 2 sons, and schnauzer-pup. In her spare time, Courtney loves being involved in her church, spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and interior design.

A graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School, she proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years following graduation, working as a Legal Administrative Clerk. After completing her service, she attended Lamar University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in University Studies. She has also gained valuable experience in the funeral service industry, where she became a licensed Advanced Funeral Planner.

She now resides in Orange, Texas, with her husband and their two children. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, especially when they’re on the water. In quieter moments, she enjoys relaxing with a good book.

Kacie graduated from Hardin-Jefferson High School then went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Lamar University. In 2017, She earned an MBA from Sam Houston State University. Kacie recently moved back to her hometown of Sour Lake, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and fur-children.

Kourtnie graduated from Nederland High School then went on to attend Lamar State College Port Arthur. In her spare time, Kourtnie enjoys hanging out with her family, attending sports game for her son, dance recitals for her daughter, and fishing with her husband.

Nicole graduated from White County High School in Cleveland, Georgia and attended the University of North Georgia where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and minored in Criminal Forensics. In her spare time, she enjoys Jiu Jitsu, reading, and cooking. Nicole currently resides in Lumberton.

Melanie grew up in the Hamshire-Fannett area. She attended Lamar University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design in 2008. Her skills as a graphic designer have allowed her to provide creative solutions for a variety of businesses and organizations in the Golden Triangle and beyond. Melanie is also a skilled calligrapher and hand lettering artist. In her spare time, she enjoys music, the arts, writing, and spending time with loved ones.

Cameron graduated from East Chambers High School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Lamar University in 2019. With experience and background in publication and stationery design, she has worked on many diverse projects for local organizations and clientele.

Cameron currently resides in Beaumont with her husband and their two cats, Kanji and Itachi. When she’s not designing, you can find her sending snail mail, reading, and thrifting.

Alexis is a proud graduate of West Brook High School and continued her education at Lamar University, where she earned her BFA in Graphic Design. When she is not working on creative projects, she loves to cook, collect vinyl records, and soak up the sunshine with her partner and their dog, Kirby.

Marion graduated from Columbus, Ohio and found his way to Broussard’s in 2022. In his spare time, he enjoys working on classic cars and he currently resides in Bevil Oaks, Texas.

Brady is a proud graduate of Orangefield High School and continued his education at Lamar State College–Orange. He currently resides in Beaumont and in his spare time, he enjoys gaming.

Bryant grew up in Southeast Texas and graduated from West Orange Stark High School. From there, he then attended the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, and he earned an Associate of Applied Science degree. In his spare time, Bryant enjoys fishing and traveling. He currently resides in Beaumont.

Bennie attended Sam Houston State University and graduated from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Training Academy in Huntsville. He joined Broussard’s as an associate in November of 2018 and accepted the position as a Transporter in February of 2019. Bennie enjoys spending time outdoors with his fiancée, Laurie, his family, and his newly acquired granddaughter, Kendall.

Kevin is an Oklahoma native, but Texas has been home for the past 30 years.  Kevin brings 15+ years of Operations Management to the Broussard’s team.  He has earned national recognition for his facilities management with one of the nation’s largest privately held companies, while managing facilities spanning multiple states throughout the US.  Kevin joined the Broussard’s Facilities team in July of 2022.  In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family. His son Cameron recently graduated from Texas Tech and resides in Houston.  His daughter Emily completed school in Pearland and lives in Missouri.  His youngest, Kennedy, attends school at Hardin Jefferson. Kevin’s wife, Deanna, has been in the financial services in Southeast Texas for over 10 years. Kevin also enjoys hunting, fishing, live concerts and watching sports.

Mandre graduated from Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, Virginia and went on to attend Old Dominion University, where he studied Business Management. In his spare time, Mandre is also the owner/operator of Sips ‘N Tips Bartending and Event Staffing Services, LLC and also invests his time on the board and as the Vice President of Black Business Professionals of SETX. Mandre is a proud husband, father, and grandfather who believes in the commitment of excellence, giving back to the community, and aways striving to put your best foot forward in anything you do.

Dana graduated from Nederland High School. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and studying her Bible.

Zorida graduated from Central High School. She joined Broussard’s in 2014 and currently serves multiple locations as a Custodian. In her spare time, Zorida enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, as well as cooking and traveling.
