Bufford “Buffy” Touchet

Bufford “Buffy” Touchet, 68, of Stowell, died January 28, 2017. He was born on November 3, 1948, in Morse, Louisiana, to Helena Fontenot and Enis Joseph Touchet.

Survivors include his daughter, Caitlin Touchet; sisters, Laura Broussard and her husband, Robert, and Debra Thibodeaux and her husband, David, all of Winnie; and Caron Hartman of Nederland; brother, David Wayne Touchet and his wife, Tammie, of Chandler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, John Touchet; sister, Adeline Clark; and brother, Kernis Touchet.

A memorial service for Mr. Touchet will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2017, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie.  His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
