Martha Samora

Martha Fay Fritsche Samora, 93, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Liberty and Sour Lake, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Visions Senior Living, Mesa, Arizona. She was born on April 11, 1924, to Nora Malzonia Fillingim and William Lafayette Jackson Spillers.

Martha is survived by her son, Mike Fritsche and his wife, Judy, of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren, Tim Fritsche of King City, California; Cindy Casburn of Sabinal; Tracy Grimsley and Melissa Searson, both of Bakersfield, California; nine great-grandchildren; five nieces; and two nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Samora; five sisters, and three brothers.

 A graveside service for Mrs. Samora will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Old Hardin Cemetery, Old Cemetery Road, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
