JE and Betty Jo were like family in my early life. "Brother-in-law" worked with my dad and uncles on family projects in Vidor. Betty Jo and their children were additional cousins. We were in church together from Cable street through Cleveland when my life took me out of Beaumont. Many fond memories.

Now, she and Mom can watch JE and Dad play softball (baseball?) with the rest of the North End Methodist group. God bless her! and God bless 'em all.

My childhood memories of North End Methodist Church are forever tied to JE and Betty Jo. I will always be grateful for the love the Ray family shared with me as I grew up. May God's love hold each of us closer who were blessed to have Betty Jo be a part of our lives.
