Michael Allen Watkins, Sr., 52, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, August 26, 2020. He was born on March 14, 1968, in Orange, to Loretta Kerr Watkins and Phillip Allen Watkins.

Survivors include his children, Haley Watkins of Cypress; Callie Watkins Martin and her husband, Aaron, of Spring; and Michael Allen Watkins, Jr. and his girlfriend, Blake Carter, of Cypress; grandchildren, Kinley Elmore, Karter Molina, Aubree Martin, and Aaron Michael Martin; parents, Loretta and Phillip Watkins of Lumberton; brother, Jeff Watkins and his wife, Debbie, of Lumberton; mother of his children, Suzanne Watkins; nieces and nephews, Rylie Watkins, Reagan Watkins, and Reese Watkins; aunt and uncle, Dianne and Ray Schedler; and cousin, Chris Schedler, all of Cedar Park; his children’s grandparents, Pat and Larry Whitley; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mildred and Lloyd Kerr and Ella Mae and Carl Bryant.

A gathering of Michael’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
