By heart is broken as I will miss this precious godly woman. She recently prayed with Bro Duplissey for me for my healing. I have so many memories of her growing up in the church. She would have me play the piano for her. She was the embodiment of a perfect God loving saint! I know that Brother Duplissey and the entire family is devastated. I am truly so very sorry and upset about this I loved Sis. Duplissey so much! She was a very special and wonderful godly woman, and also my principal in the private school at First Pentecostal Church when I was a child if I remember that correctly. I have many more memories of her but my favorite memory of her still sticks in my head like it was yesterday, when Sis. looper (Jodi to me at that time) was taking My brother and my pictures and she captured one picture of Sis.. Duplissey and she was laughing so hard and that image will be forever in my head and I am grateful for the memories I’ve had with her! I do regret I didn’t see her more often! As for Sis. Looper and the family I know there are no words to help but my thoughts and prayers are with you all and I will always be here for y’all!

To Bro Duplissy and and Pastor Looper and his darling little wife and family! I always loved Sis Duplissy, she was very kind to me when my husband and I preached in Silsbee! She was a kind and gentle lady! She will be missed very much! Bro Duplissy I never realized how much pain a person can feel when you loose a spouse! God love your heart! My prayers are with you.

D’Wayne and Jan Crowell

Sis, Duplissey had such a beautiful spirit - always so kind and loving. She gave our daughter Rhea a prayer cloth about 30 years ago when she had serious health issues. Rhea still sleeps with that cloth under her pillow every night, so we think of her quite often. Please know we are praying for all of the family. What a precious legacy she left!

Sharron Dunn

Marvin and I send our heartfelt love and prayers for the days ahead. Years and miles have not diminished the family ties of the Dunns and Duplisseys. Our hearts are there with you today.

Mark and Lisa Thigpen

After reading all the condolences that have been posted, Sister Duplissey has been described exactly as she was; a precious, GODLY Woman, who had a presence of being kind, gentle and loving to everyone. She had a warm and beautiful spirit. This special LADY might have come across as a quiet saint of GOD, but yet she was so powerful in the Lord and Prayer to everyone that knew her. The one word that has not been used yet is RESPECT…To know Sister Duplissey was to respect her. My wife and I had the privilege to know her and we both admired and truly respected the person she was. The saints of the First Pentecostal Church of Silsbee have been blessed to have such a great role model who set the standard for so many young ladies. Sister Duplissey leaves a legacy for all who remain to honor. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to Brother Duplissey and the rest of the family. It is truly a special family not only to both of us, but to so many that Sister Duplissey leaves behind. May GOD BLESS each of you.
