Claude "Bubba" Bradley
Claude Lee “Bubba” Bradley left his earthly body on December 19, 2020, in the wee hours of the morning. He was born on May 15, 1932, to Vada Wheeler Bradley and Claude Lee Bradley, Sr.
Bubba was well known in the oil field and around the town of Sour Lake. If someone needed help, he was always there for them. Many local friends knew they could find a tool they needed to borrow, parts to fix a water well or leak, or help figuring out what was wrong with a vehicle by talking to him.
Bubba is survived by his wife, Marilyn Pickens; children, Rene’ Jones, Kenneth Bradley, and Diana Suniga and her husband, Jessie; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Nelsene Bradley; two brothers; and three sisters.
At Bubba’s request, there will be no services. He said that was for the living and he was right. He also requested no flowers, but if you do feel moved to do something, memorial contributions may be made in Bubba’s memory to a favorite charity of one’s choice. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
Bubba was a quiet man, but he was loved by many. We will miss you greatly but will see you again.
