Sharon "Birline" Young

Sharon “Birline” Young, 80, of Lumberton, died Thursday, August 5, 2021. She was born on May 16, 1941, in Commerce, to Charline Wilburn and Birva Webb. 

Survivors include her son, Cary Young and his wife, Brandi; daughter, Cristi Kethan and her husband, Chris; grandsons, Brandon Young, Cody Young, and Collin Young; granddaughters, Bailey Young; Chloe Young; Tori Green; Lauren Johnston and her husband, Clint; Mattie Kethan; Rylie Kethan; great-grandchildren, Paisley Green, Caysen Johnston, Noah Johnston, Russell Johnston, Aiden Johnston, Sophie Johnston, and Fiarrah Young; daughter-in-law, Honey Young; niece, Tammie Matthews; cousin, Gayline VanZandt, her son, Gary Pullen, her daughter, Renne Arnold, and their families. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Davis Young; son, Phillip Young; and brother, Carol “Don” Webb. 

Memorial contributions for Mrs. Young may be made to The Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

A graveside service for Mrs. Young will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Allison Cemetery, CR 4472, Warren, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
