Clint Daigle

June 3, 1937 - August 8, 2021

Clinton Joseph “Clint” Daigle, 84, of Beaumont, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2021. He was born June 3, 1937, in Fenton, Louisiana, to Horace and Rena Daigle. 

Clint proudly served our country on active duty in the United States Army for two years, and then an additional four years in the reserves. Clint was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. He loved watching the Astros, no matter if they were winning or losing. Clint would hit the deer stand or lake in the early morning and come in after dark to make the most of his hunt or catch. Over the years, Clint participated in several bass tournaments and bowling leagues making lifelong friends. 

Survivors include his daughters, Sherry Cook and her husband, Don, of Lumberton, and Deborah Toney of Silsbee; stepdaughter, Sarah Craigen and her husband, Chad, of Fannett; brothers, Donald Daigle and his wife, Diana, of Fannett; Freddie Daigle of Vidor; and Jerry Daigle of Fannett; grandchildren, Christian Lanham, Kayla Collins, Clint Toney, Amanda Green, Brittlyn Craigen, and Baileigh Craigen; great-grandchildren, Blacey Black, Barrett Black, Marshal Craigen, Hannah Bennett, Rebecca Bennett, Maggie Langham, Jakob Langham, Juliahnah Wilson, Daxton Mitchell, and Payton Matthews; great-great-grandchild, Saylor Rosa, due in November; and numerous nieces, and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ginny Daigle; and grandson, SPC Bradon Craigen. 

A memorial gathering for Mr. Daigle will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 13, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
