Linda Marie Jones Anderson
Linda Marie Jones Anderson, 63, of Orangefield, died Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Christus Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital, Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was born on June 4, 1958, to Joyce Laverne Crawford Jones and Douglas Eugene Jones. Linda worked as a trauma nurse for almost 30 years with over 20 of those being in the ER at St. Elizabeth and at the Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping and going to the Frio River. Linda will be remembered for her love of family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Norris Nugent of Orangefield; son, Jerry Lee Norris and his wife, Ashley, of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Shae Logan, Walker Duke, Andrue, Gabe, and Avery; former husband and father of her children, Jerry Norris, of Sour Lake; brother, William Douglas Jones of Vidor; sister-in-law, Monika Jones of Vidor; her most loved niece, Sonja Jones and other numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She will especially be missed by her faithful poodle, Betty White.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Eugene Jones; and sisters, Carmen Jones, Brenda Wilson.
A gathering of Ms. Anderson’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with her funeral service to begin at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
