MSgt. Danny Williamson, Jr., USMC (Ret.)

October 9, 1962 - September 20, 2021

MSgt Danny Murrell Williamson, Jr. of Salina, Kansas, 58, passed on to his Heavenly home on the night of Monday, September 20th, 2021. He was born October 9th, 1962. Danny proudly served the country he loved as Marine for (20) twenty years.

Danny met his adoring wife, Vickie, in Oceanside, California in 2001. He took on the role of loving father to Vickie’s (3) three daughters: Megan, Tiffany, and Shelby. The (2) two of them added to the family when he became father to their son, David, on August 13th, 2006, and then to their daughter, Danielle, on August 10th, 2008. Danny and Vickie were happily wed on December 27th, 2012.

He spent the remainder of his life as a model father, loving husband, and wonderful friend to everyone he came across.

Danny was a kind man with a heart of gold and a personality larger than life. He loved collecting and educating others about guns, and motorcycles, and teaching others about life. He loved well and was loved well in return.

Danny is survived by his wife Vickie Williamson; son David Williamson; daughters Danielle Williamson; Megan Dugas and her husband Adrian; Tiffany Webb; and Shelby Webb; granddaughter Avery Dugas; sister Keri Richard; brother Tim Williamson and his wife Carmen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Richard.

A gathering of MSgt. Williamson’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment with military honors will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.

    There are no words to express our sorrow. We will miss Danny here on earth, but know that he is in heaven and is free of any pain and suffering. Spread your angels wings and fly high Danny. I will continue to pray for the whole family as we go through this difficult time. God always takes care of the broken hearted. I love you my brother…until we meet again…rest in peace.
