Lydia Priscilla Griffin
Lydia Priscilla Griffin, 63, of Beaumont, died Sunday, September 26, 2021. She was born on March 2, 1958, in Orange, to Margaret McPayne and Jerry Welsh. Lydia was a mail carrier for the postal service.
Lydia loved being a grandmother. She was known as a very kindhearted person, always generous. Lydia had an infectious laugh you could hear miles away.
Survivors include her children, Angie; Thomas; Gary; Donna; Crystal; and Jolene; grandchild, Aiden; siblings, Betty Trahan, and Timothy Welsh.
Lydia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Griffin; siblings, Jerry “Scooter” Welsh, Jr.; Dana Walker; Michael Welsh; and Kenneth Howard.

A graveside service for Mrs. Griffin will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000, McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
