Emil Leslie Falk

September 30, 1932 - December 3, 2021

Emil Leslie Falk, 89, of Beaumont passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, with his wife at his side.  He was born September 30, 1932, in Houston, Texas, to Ben and Celia Falk.

Emil, “Les” was a United States Coast Guard veteran having served his country honorably during the Korean War. He worked for E.L. Lester Heavy Equipment company in Houston before employment with Sabine Offshore Service in Sabine Pass as the Maintenance Supervisor of Heavy Equipment. He retired 16 years later in 1990 but continued to work on small equipment.  He was an avid gardener and handyman.  He will be remembered as a wonderful father, beloved husband, adoring grandfather, and loyal friend.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Shirley Faye Falk; children, Brian Falk and Rene Danna of Port Arthur; grandchild, Alyssa Danna and her husband, Lee Peterson; brothers, Donald and Bennet Falk; sister, Susie Mears; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving and caring family member and faithful friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jo Ed and C.B. Falk

His cremation arrangements will be held through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

    So sorry to learn that Les had passed by Doris Waldron Sunday a.m. He was such a kind and proud man. My prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. His presence at Wesley has been missed for some time but understood he was ill for some time. God be with all of you.

He had a way of lighting up a room with his smiling face and kind words! He will be missed by many and joyfully receive by our Lord!
