Stephen Hernandez

Stephen Earl Hernandez, 67, of Groves, died Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Christus Southeast Texas – St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born June 8, 1954, in Port Arthur.

Stephen enjoyed crabbing at Pleasure Island and loved to be around the water.  Family was very important to him.

Survivors include his mother, Gloria Guerra Hernandez; sons, Phillip Hernandez; Mickey Hernandez and wife, Jessica; Josh Hernandez and wife Lacey; and Timothy Hernandez; grandchildren, Layla; Carder; Myya; William; Amelia; Riley; Drake; Auerie; and Brogan; and sisters, Martha Blair and Jodi Newman and husband, Vince.

He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Hernandez.

Mr. Hernandez’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
