Larry W. Bass, 65, of Nederland, died Friday, March 25, 2022. He was born August 31, 1956, in Houston, to Betty Louise Bass and James Kenneth Bass.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Bass, of Nederland; children, Lisa Fenner and husband, David, of Beaumont, and Daniel Bass and wife, Katherine, of Austin; step-sons, Randy Perkins and Gary Perkins, both of Nederland; grandchildren, Jordin, Alex, Nathan, Adam, Owen, Walt, Hayden, and Ren; great-grandchildren, Harper and Lane; brothers, James, David, and Mark Bass, of Beaumont, Michael Bass and wife, Renae, of China, and Brandon Bass, of Bridge City; and sister, Nadalie Warner and husband, James, of Nederland.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Debbie Sloane, Sandy Gage, and Vicky Bass; and brothers, Jerry and Terry Bass.

A gathering of Mr. Bass’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

    My memories of Larry are to many too mention. They go from working on projects scattered across the, country Elk hunting in Colorado to Managing a Deer lease. Larry is a permanent part of my life even now. I know that I’ll see him again on the other side.
