Jerry Lynn Gore

December 9, 1953 - July 20, 2022

Jerry Lynn Gore, 68, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on December 9, 1953, in Silsbee, to Elsie and Willie Bee Gore.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He spent forty years as a welder before retiring from Hardin County Precinct 2, as a heavy equipment operator.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses in his younger years and spending time with his family as often as possible.  He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Tracey Lyn Gore; daughter, Sabrina Renee Gore-Williams of Silsbee; grandson, Dylan Colt Williams of Silsbee; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Brooke Williams of College Station; sister, Elaine Mallette of Beaumont; mother-in-law, Georgia “Sue” Woodard of Silsbee; nephews, Kevin Gore and his wife, Kandy, of Tarkington; Clinton Earl Gore and his wife, Kathy, of Georgetown; and Vance Cawley and his wife, Cheryl, of Fred; niece, Jill Barker and her husband, John, of Wildwood; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins; and his fur-babies, Callie, Daisy, and Tazzie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Willie Bee Gore; brothers, Gilbert Earl Gore and his wife, Sarah, and Lewis Gore; nephew, Caleb Cawley; father-in-law, Michael Woodard; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A gathering of Mr. Gore’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His interment will follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
