Alford Thrasher

Alford Thrasher, 55, of Spurger, died Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was born on May 26, 1967, in Galveston, to Mary Josephine Richard Thrasher and Jerry Clarence Thrasher.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Thrasher and her husband, Burl Maxwell, of Jerusalem, Arkansas; son, Aaron Ray Thrasher; Alford’s  fiancée, Shelia Crawford; stepdaughter, Sabrina Crawford; and stepson, Jimmy Crawford Jr., all of Spurger; sisters, Lynn Armstrong of Silsbee and Donna Thrasher of Pineville, Louisiana; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, and siblings, Richard Clarence Thrasher, Leona Josephine Gregory, and John Walter Thrasher.

Mr. Thrasher’s committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
