Florence “Janie” Meredith

Florence “Janie” Meredith, 84, of Village Mills, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023.  She was born on July 13, 1938, in Fort Worth, to Helen Acuff Anderson and George Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Meredith; children, Bill Meredith and his wife, Robin, of Village Mills and Shawn Meredith and his wife, Amber, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Amanda Van Wey and her husband, Aaron, of Cypress; and Bryson Meredith and Jaxon Meredith, both of Silsbee; and great-grandchildren, Cason, Aven, Cooper, Hudson, Quinn, and Reece.  She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Keith Meredith.

A gathering of Mrs. Meredith’s family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Village Mills United Methodist Church, 5943 FM 3063, Village Mills.  Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
