Adrian Mebane

Adrian Mebane, 41, of Nederland, died Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born August 27, 1981, in Weslaco, to Maria De La Cruz Cuellar Hernandez and Felix Hernandez.

Adrian will be remembered as a hard worker, for his playful spirit, and his willingness to lend a helping hand. He was a prankster, and will forever remain a loving husband, father, and Grampy.

Survivors include his wife of eighteen years, Vanessa Mebane of Nederland; daughters, Christina Butterworth and husband, Mark, of Hammond, Louisiana and Julissa Quiroz, of Nederland; sons, Marcus Mebane and Aiden Mebane, all of Nederland; grandsons, Santana Griffin and Theodore Butterworth; sisters, Michelle Evans; Tammy Bigelow and husband, John; Maria Felix DeLeon; Andrea Cuellar; Erasmo Vasquez; Delia Hernandez Gonzalez and husband, Ismael; and Monica Hernandez; brothers, Felix Hernandez, Jr.; Raul Hernandez and wife, Marisvel; Ismael Hernandez and wife, Vicky; Abraham Hernandez and wife, Judy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mario Hernandez.

Mr. Mebane’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
