Betty Ruth Norman

Betty Ruth Norman, 90, of Beaumont, died Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on May 1, 1933, to Nora Fields Coe and Virgil Lawrence Coe, in Axtell.

Betty was a mother to three boys that were the light of her life. Being a mother was one of her greatest joys. Betty was also very active in her church. She served as a greeter for many years. She loved sharing her love of Jesus and her faith. Betty was a very independent and strong woman. Anyone that knew her, knew that she was always dressed to a t and loved fashion. She worked as a sales associate at Dress Barn and enjoyed helping her customers and creating relationships with them. She loved to love on people and make them feel special.

Survivors include her children, Aaron Norman and his wife, Debra, of Orange; Rod Norman and his wife, Tina, of Springtown; and Charlie Norman and his wife, Debbie, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Chad Norman; Casey Norman; Brandon Keszeg; Corey Norman and his wife, Ivonne; Gracie Al-Sholi and her husband, Afif; Tye Norman and his fiancée, Allison; and Chaz Norman; great-grandchild, Remi Al-Sholi; and numerous extended family members, loved ones, and friends through the years.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Tye Cobb Norman.

A gathering of Mrs. Norman’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orange.
