Elizabeth Karen Gault, 70, of Lufkin, died Saturday, September 30, 2023. She was born February 24, 1953, in Lafayette, Alabama, to Mary Hutson Stafford and Leo Stafford.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Richard Gault; children, Chris and Karen Gault; and brother, Dennis Stafford.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Gault’s graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Rosedale Cemetery, Old Beaumont Road, Sour Lake, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Just found out about Kay. She was in the class before me at Hardin-Jefferson and was my nearby neighbor in the 1980’s. I remember her as being quiet and very sweet, a good person. Condolences to Richard, Dennis, Chris and Karen. I know you will all miss her very much.
Kay was a very sweet person. I met her through my cousin Eva Marie, who was very close friends with
