Charles Randall (Randy) Moore
Charles Randall (Randy) Moore, 74, of Beaumont died Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was born September 16, 1949, in Dallas to Frances and Charles Moore. Randy was a loving son and brother and a loyal friend to many. He showed an amazing talent for art at an early age and was encouraged to pursue it. After graduating from Ohio University, he went to California and became a very successful and respected Art Director in the Film and Television Industry. He worked on a variety of movies including The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the Newton Boys, The Mask, The Adventures of Huck Finn, The Avengers and the original Halloween. He retired to Beaumont after nearly 40 years in this position.
Randy was a lover of wildlife and enjoyed attracting and feeding the many native and migratory birds in the area. He was also a talented craftsman and enjoyed personally restoring his historic home.
Survivors include his mother, Frances Moore; sister, Candace Westerberg and her husband, John, all of St. Petersburg, Florida; his faithful canine companion, Josie; and his friends and neighbors in Old Town.
Cremation arrangements for Mr. Moore were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
My deepest sympathies to Randy’s mother Frances and Sister Candi. He was truly loved by the Fox family. We are honored that we had the opportunity to share a part of his life. He was a brilliant and talented man.

So sad to hear of Randy’s passing, he was one of my customers and friend . We talked regularly on the phone or in his driveway. He was such a good man I’m going to miss him and Josie being outside when I drive by. God Bless him and his family.
He was the sweetest man and sure did love his Josie. We always had the best conversations when he was wood working in the yard. He will be missed.
