Linda L. Kellum

Linda L. Kellum, 81, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1942, in Kirbyville, to Velma Irene Singletary Smith and Arvil David Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Kellum; grandchildren, Victoria Rodgers and her husband, Johnathan, of Silsbee; Heather Bridges and her husband, Cliffton, and Clint Cucancic and his wife, Kristi, all of Kirbyville; great-grandchildren, Xavier Bridges, Skylar Bridges, Garret Bridges, and Amellia Bridges; siblings, Kathy Pressley and her husband, Mike, and Mike Smith and his wife, Jennifer, all of Dallas; David Smith and his wife, Judy, of Kirbyville; and Nita McBride and her husband, Ronnie, of Jasper; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Kellum; daughter, Leca Cucancic; and sisters, Dorothy Kellum and Helen Skinner.

A gathering of Mrs. Kellum’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery, Kirbyville.

    I could write a book on the times that I spent with Tommy and Linda. Linda was always so happy to see me and sure enjoyed a game of any kind. Our times together will forever be etched in my mind as some of the best times of my life. My prayers go to Tommy as he faces the days ahead without her.
