Joseph “Joey” Daniel Mallet, 47, of Silsbee, died Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born on May 13, 1976, in Port Arthur, to Lavada Jean Wilson Mallet and Joel Daniel Mallet.

Survivors include his wife, Mindi Mallet of Silsbee; his children, Savannah Blanchard of Silsbee and Jacob Mallet and Shelby Mallet, both of Port Arthur; his parents, Lavada Edwards and her husband, Bruce, of Roans Prairie and Joel “Danny” Mallet and his wife, Molly, of Port Arthur; sister, Kim Belding and her husband, Doug, of Memphis, Tennessee; and nephews, Cade Belding and Brady Belding.

A gathering of Mr. Mallet’s family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with his interment to follow at Daniels Cemetery, Kountze.
