Jimmie Locke, Sr.

Jimmie Locke, Sr., 72, of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was born May 22, 1951, in Trenton, Tennessee, to Lura Mae Surratt Locke and Elijah Walter Locke. Jimmie was a United States Army veteran and worked in automotive paint and body for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Locke; children, Jimmy Locke, Jr. and his wife, Rachel Jones-Locke, of Spring; the favorite daughter, KaryAnn Locke and partner, John Turner, of Beaumont; Kevin Locke and fiancé, Brandy Lankford of Baytown; the pretty daughter, Kristina Locke of Nederland; and his favorite child and best friend, Jethro; fifteen grandchildren; seven and a half great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Hodges, David Locke, George Locke, Christopher Locke; and Faith Haynes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Terry Locke.

Mr. Locke’s memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
