Linda, Terry Lynn. And Lori … it’s hard to put into words the life of a Great Man.. To know Terry was to love and respect him… He worked, breathed, and lived for his family.. Those grandchildren were the apple of his eye.. and he always spoke of them with the twinkle in his eyes.; saw him upset one time with someone that didn’t show the love respect for them like he did and he said… if they mess with my girls I will turn their lights out!! And he wasn’t talking about electricity…LOL.
TERRY was a real friend… one you could pour all the contents of your heart out to… the chaff and grain alike .. knowing that the gentlest of hands would take , sift it , use what was worth using and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away…. He was never one to put down or destroy a person but continually lift them up and encourage them. What a highly principled
Man he was and we are proud to have him not only as a cousin but a True Real Friend.
The bottom line assets are not what makes a man great ..but it’s giving of yourself to enrich the lives of others.. He left us a better person by knowing him!!
One day I was making rounds and I ask him Terry … what’s my name… and he stopped looked up at me and said well Ann it’s printed right there on your jacket!! What a GREAT MAN … we love Terry Tanton…. He may not have left you with great riches of money… but he left you with far greater wealth of his love and integrity of a GREAT MAN… … to know you was to love you Terry!!!! I still have that jacket Terry..Anna Tanton
