Thomas Lee Wright
Thomas Lee Wright, 78, of Beaumont, died Friday, January 5, 2024. He was born on January 11, 1945, to Freda Jagneaux Wright and Wilson Joseph Wright, in Beaumont. Thomas was a 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 14473 in China.
Survivors include his wife, Delta M. Wright; daughter, Stephanie M. Wright-Estes of Kingwood, Denise K. Barrera and her husband, Juan, and Christina L. Wright, all of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Maddison E. Barrera of Beaumont, Garrett J. Estes of Kingwood, Maegan M. Barrera and Gianna R. Mastroti, both of Beaumont.
He is preceded in death by his daughters, Pamela A. Wright and Margaret L. Wright; as well as his parents and brother, Rayford W. Wright; sister, Deborah Mathew; and grandparents, Oscar and Lena Wright.
A gathering of Mr. Wright’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 245 West Highway 90, China. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

What a wonderful Poppa you are! Gigi and all your grandkids are blessed to have such great grandparents and they love you so much Dad. We all do. And we miss you so. Today I visited your grave and realized you are now protecting all of our family there. Just as you did in life. There is a huge hole in our circle now. Big shoes to fill. You were the patriarch to our family. Now my sisters and I will do our very best to keep it going and take care of momma and our kids. The night you had to leave us was so unexpected. Until we meet again and hold you and all our family in our arms, we love you and miss you…..

I am so sorry to hear about Tommy’s passing. I am sure he is in heaven with all his friends. Prayers for all the family at this difficult time. He will be greatly missed by many.
Mom and I are so sad to hear about Tommy’s passing. He will always be remembered as kind and loving to everyone who knew him. Our prayers go out to Delta and his daughters and their families.
