Vanessa Nicole “Nicki” Manning

Vanessa Nicole “Nicki” Manning, 48, of Lumberton, died Thursday, January 4, 2024.  She was born on January 29, 1975, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Carolyn Byrd Corkran and James Corkran.

Survivors include her husband, Skip Manning; children, Naomi Okun and her husband, Scotty, of Vidor; Madison Ramirez and her husband, Justice, of Bridge City; Camryn Mettz of San Marcus; Amy Bowler of Tyler; Jennifer Brey and her husband, R.J., of Lindale; Sloan Wagnon of Hemphill; Brooke Wagnon of Kirbyville; and Tabitha Krohn and her husband, John, of Lindale; ten grandchildren; parents, Carolyn and Reverend James “Jim” Corkran; sister, Shelly O’Quinn and her husband, Devin, Anahuac; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Nicki’s family and friends will begin at 5:30 p.m., with her memorial service at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Nederland Apostolic Church, 1308 South 27th Street, Nederland, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
