Opal Zeagler Hogan

Opal Zeagler Hogan, 99, of Kirbyville, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1924, in Bronson, to Margaret McLanathan and William Zeagler.

Survivors include her children, Ronny Hogan and his wife, Nancy; Kay Morgan; and Roger Hogan; grandchildren, Bart Hogan and his wife, Desiree; Carol Kroner and her husband, Ricky; and Theresa Smith and her husband, Mitch; great-grandchildren, Blake and his wife, Kori; Kaleb and his fiancé, Whitney; Dillon and his wife, Taylor; Trent and his wife, Cassity; Wyatt; Christian; Carmen; Mikole; Aiden; Bryce; and great-great-grandchildren, Brittlynn and Keely.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elvin B. Hogan; grandchild, Charlie; son-in-law, Clyde Morgan; and sisters, Georgia, Ruth, and Nita.

A gathering of Mrs. Hogan’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2024, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
