Maudry Breaux Bridgers
Maudry Breaux Bridgers, 93, of Beaumont, died Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was born on July 24, 1930, in Nunez, Louisiana to Melazie Clark Decuir and Otto Decuir.
Survivors include her children, Donna Wallace and her husband, Claude, of Spring; Randy Breaux and his wife, Kathy, of Lumberton; Mark Breaux and his wife, Cathy, of Liberty Hill; and Kevin Breaux and his wife, Terri, of Liberty Hill; grandchildren, Danielle Wallace; Ryan Wallace and his wife, Christi; Zach Wallace and his wife, Amber; Amy Harper and her husband, Jaime; Jenny Breaux; Caitie Schwein and her husband, Kirby; Andrew Breaux and his wife, Payton; Mark Breaux; John Breaux; Parker Breaux and his husband, Brooks Naylor; and Bailey Cole and her husband, Aaron; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Robert Bridgers and his wife, Cathy; Barbara Brookner and her husband, Steven; Cecil Franklin and her husband, Randell; James Bridgers and his wife, Jeanne; and Ruthie Bridgers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Maudry is preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Melaize Decuir; brothers, Lovelace Decuir and Wilton Decuir; sister, Helen Viator; first husband, Larris J. Breaux; second husband, Bob O. Bridgers; and stepdaughter, Mary Delacerta.
A gathering of Mrs. Bridgers’ family and friends will begin 12:00 p.m. with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

Dear Breaux and Viator Families!
I am so sorry for your loss! I did Maudry’s and Helen’s hair every Friday until I sold the shop and moved to Houston. And we hung out and they made lunch for me every Monday for years. Loved both of the dearly.
I will certainly keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Breaux and Viator family, I am so sorry to read of Nannies death. She was such a sweet lady. I always enjoyed being with her. I still make her sweet potato casserole. I will keep your family in my prayers.
