Jonathan Chandler Doucet

November 8, 1995 - May 8, 2024

Jonathan Chandler Doucet of Beaumont, Texas, was taken from us on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. He was born November 8, 1995, in Beaumont, to Kirstie Crowell and John Doucet.

Jonathan, or as those closest to him called him Bubba, Bubba J, Uncle J, and JDoo, was a young, passionate, strong, full of life, determined, handy, helpful, and loving man. He kept his circle tight but at the same time knew no stranger! He loved his family, especially his littlest siblings, nieces and nephews more than life itself. He enjoyed, maybe a little too much, pulling pranks on and cracking jokes with those closest to him. He was always wanting to make people smile.

Bubba was always ready for a good adventure, especially if it involved the outdoors! Fishing, cooking, golfing and going to the beach is where you could find him most days. He had two dogs, Maddie and Milo, that he adored, and Maddie would go everywhere with him. She was his right hand gal. When he wasn’t on the go, he liked to sit in his apartment with his dogs and paint or watch movies in his “theater room.” Bubba was full of life and a good time!

Jonathan is survived by his two dogs, Maddie and Milo; his parents, Kirstie Crowell and husband, Douglas Crowell and John Doucet and wife, Ashley Doucet; his siblings, Alie Ainsworth and husband, Cameron Ainsworth, Caitlyn Gomez and husband, Diego Gomez, Taylor Doucet, Aiden Doucet and Adalyn Doucet; his nieces and nephews, Noah Gomez, Emma Ainsworth, Izabella Gomez and Tyler Ainsworth; and his grandfather, Joe Doucet and wife, Aletha Doucet.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rita Doucet and his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Linda Ryman.
