Debra Diane Dale
Debra Diane Dale, 70, of Hamshire, died June 9, 2024. She was born on October 12, 1953, in Ballinger, Texas, to Maxine and C.W. Hendricks.
She enjoyed drinking coffee, watching TBN, shopping on QVC, and listening to Cajun music. DeeDee was her carefully chosen name when she found out she was going to be a grandmother. DeeDee loved Sunday meals and spending time with her family. Most of her life was spent caring for others, both young and old in the community. Her door was always open for anyone who wanted visit.
Survivors include her son, Lance Dale, of Hamshire; daughters, Bambi McGinn, of Port Neches, Marla Gilmore, and her husband, David, of Hamshire; sister, Lisa Billiot, and her husband, Tracy, of Sulphur, Louisiana; grandchildren, Dawson Gilmore, Logan McGinn, London McGinn; niece, Kaitlin Vidrine; nephew, Dalton Billiot; and great niece, Collins Vidrine.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dwayne Hendricks.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 25304 TX-124, Hamshire, Texas 77622.
A gathering of Ms. Dale’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 25304 TX-124, Hamshire, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.

Lance, Marla, Bambie and Lisa, you and your family are in my prayers. I wished I had come down and visited Debra more, she will be missed by so many. She’s with her mom and all of her sister’s and I wish I was a fly on the wall right now.
Marla, and family I’m so sorry to hear about your mother earning her wings. No words can take the pain and hurt ya’ll are feeling, please know I am praying for all of you. Pray you find comfort in knowing she is not suffering anymore, she is in Heaven being your guardian Angel.

Lance, Bambi, Marla, and Lisa, I was in Beta Sigma Phi with your mom in the 70’s-80’s. I was a new resident in the Hamshire community. Debra was so fun to be around . Your mom absolutely had the best laugh. I enjoyed my time spent with her. Sending my deepest condolences and hugs.
My beautiful cousin. You are now with your momma, daddy, Dwayne, my momma Aunt Pat, and all the sisters in heaven but most of all in rhe arms of Jesus. I am so sorry we didn’t see each other after the sisters passed. They were the glue that kept our family together. I have very fond memories of us growing up that I will always cherish. You are leaving this world a very proud momma of 3 beautiful successful children who will carry your kindness through the next generation just like my Aunt Mackey did. Brianca and I are sending Love & Prayers for comfort to everyone who has touched your world. Enjoy being whole again and singing with all our angels.

Debra’s family lived down the street from us when we were in school. She was a couple of grades older but was always the kindest person. Her eyes always sparkled when she laughed and she was alway smiling. So beautiful.
