    Jonathan Burton says:

Bob was a great patriot and friend. Like others we met while stationed together at Port Arthur. While a great mentor to all, he also was a true gentleman who always went out of his way to help others. He will be missed but I know he is now with his beloved Katie in a better place.

    Julio Martinez says:

Met Bob while stationed at MSO Port Arthur. I was a new marine inspector at the unit. Bob and I worked together, and he was also a mentor. His passing has caused me great sadness, but I also know that he is with our Lord Jesus Christ, and he is at peace. My condolences to the family and friends. Christian quote: “If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.” “Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.” “Grief is itself a medicine.” May the Lord be with you in this difficult time.

    Lawrence Peters says:

Have lots fond memories working Bob while a USCG Marine Inspector at Port Arthur. We made CWO about the same time. We did lots of inspections together. His passing leaves me saddened. Great guy to work with. He will be missed by family and friends. Sorry I cant make his memorial service. Would love to be there.
