In 1996, he came to Beaumont, Texas with his wife Maria Ortencia Correa. He is survived also by 3 children, Jose-Antonio Hernandez, Carmela Hernandez, and Jose Huriel Hernandez.
Cremation arrangements for Mr. Hernandez were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
