Keith Bowman

December 20, 1959 - June 17, 2024

Keith Bowman, 64, of Beaumont, died Monday, June 17, 2024, at Village Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation, Kountze. He was born on December 20, 1959, to Jeanette Nelson Bowman and Phillip Dean Bowman, in Vidor.

Survivors include his wife, Gina Bowman; daughter, Laci Watkins and her husband, Gary, of Beaumont; brother, Curtis Dean “Bubby” Bowman and sister, Phyllis Bowman, both of Vidor; and precious dogs, Presley, Bentley, and Hannah.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Keith was a lifelong resident from Southeast Texas. He was a well-known musician in over 12 different bands throughout the years. Some of those bands included: Mixx Fixxer, Tangerine, and Livin Proof. He was also an avid golfer and bowler. He was thought of as an “encourager” and “jokester”. Keith will truly be missed by all of his biggest fans and will forever be remembered as a true rockstar.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

A gathering of Mr. Bowman’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

    Oh how I remember the days when we were all young and thought time never ended…we had such good times. I will never forget Keith’s smile and his funny personality. The club nights, camping trips and endless conversations with allour friends. He was truly unique with such talent. God has gained a fabulous musician to play for eternity.
