Ronald “Ronnie” Glynn Hatch

July 14, 1945 - June 21, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald “Ronnie” Glynn Hatch, a loving husband, father, and friend, on June 21 at the age of 78. Ronnie passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Born on July 14, 1945, Ronnie was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, his hard work, and his kind spirit. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherrye, who was his partner and confidante for thirty-three years. Together, they built a prosperous business and a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Ronnie was a devoted father to his three children: Kim Yarborough, Mandy Guest and her husband, Michael, and Billy Jack Mims and his wife, Smiley. He took immense pride in their achievements.

He is also survived by his grandchildren; Haley Phillips, Emma Yarbrough, Madalyn Guest, Matthew Guest, Lotti Lane Mims; sister-in-law, Margaret Hatch; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A pillar of strength and wisdom, Ronnie was also a valued member of his community. He enjoyed hunting at the Ranch, Astros baseball, deck time at the Guadalupe River and good times with friends. His generosity, sense of humor, and larger than life personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A gathering of Mr. Hatch’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Broussard’s. His interment will be 1:00 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Texas Rangers Association Foundation at https://www.traf.org/donate/, a cause close to Ronnie’s heart.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their love and support during this difficult time.

Ronnie’s legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
