Eric Isaiah Forse

July 10, 2006 - June 24, 2024

Eric was induced to be born by the 4th of July. However, the induction did not take. When he was born via c-section, his face was scrunched up, frowning and he opened his eyes as if in disbelief. A healthy baby boy was born.

Being first time parents with Eric was a great experience and God given privilege. He brought in so much joy, and happiness with each milestone. He loved what his mama and daddy loved growing up. His brain was a sponge soaking up all knowledge and information. He was a sweetheart who loved to talk. He was independent and insistent on doing most things on his own. He was excited and supportive every time he learned he was gaining a new sibling. He wanted to be helpful and was very loving.

Eric and his siblings were homeschooled until he desired to be around other kids his peer. He entered high school at HJ in the 9th grade and couldn’t be happier. He bragged how he was already making new friends and fun memories as well as some embarrassing moments. He was never discouraged at all and was proud and confident.

He always enjoyed impressing others. When he gifted family members, it was always well received because his gifts were sincere and from the heart. He was never shaken on what was wrong and stood firm on what was right. Headstrong and determined, at times a little stubborn, but he got that from his mom and dad.

His greatest achievements in life were so natural and beautiful. He couldn’t wait to grow up. Like other kids, his dream to become a doctor didn’t stick, but he knew that he wanted to be a welder after graduation. Anyone who knows Eric knows that when he has a goal in mind, there’s no swaying him.

He loved being around others and loved sharing what he’s learned. He had a love for traveling and meeting new people. Even when he met cousins or family he’s never seen before, you would think he’s known them his whole life. He was a blessing with his heart to get to know you.

That is Christ-like in itself. Jesus wants to know us and have a relationship with us and it’s so easy. Eric volunteered with his peers in youth group and never complained. He was always willing to help.

Colossians 3:23-24 says “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”

Eric was a hardworking, disciplined, intelligent, funny, kind, caring, protective, and loyal young man. His strive for excellence and dedication for success got him his accomplishments of getting his first truck and getting his driver license, earning an orange belt with 3 strips and winning a ton of BJJ tournaments, graduating High school with a 4.2 GPA, going to state for welding and earning multiple certifications, and learned to do construction work. Eric came from humble being’s where he worked at Dairy Queen and build his way up to secure a job at S&B.
Eric’s dedication and gentle spirt serves as an inspiration to others that nothing is impossible with the right mindset and faith in God. He is known to live in the moment because tomorrow isn’t promised.

Survivors include his father, Christopher Forse; mother, LaToya Forse; sisters, Carmen Forse and Leona Forse; and brother, Eli Forse.

I met Eric through TPC, he was always very respectful and extremely polite to anyone he talked to and he was amazing at jiu-jitsu. My heart goes out to Latoya, Chris, his siblings, and my friend Alondra. Eric is still with us in energy and in spirit because energy cannot be destroyed. He’s with us everywhere. I’m going to miss training with you, rest peacefully. The TPC family will miss you.

I knew Eric from freshman year and I came to know him and I found a good friend in him. When I was in the welding shop I would see him working on something and we would talk. He was so quiet but when he talked you listened. He was a great man. I’m gonna miss u dude

    Marcellus & Nacquata says:

No words cannot express or describe the heartbreak that is felt. Eric was such a sweet and gentle young man. He accepted our kids immediately while visiting for Christmas. His care for his siblings truly showed the values his parents instilled in him. Even though we didn’t get to spend as much time as we would have wanted to the absence of his presence will truly be missed. Thank you LaToya for sharing your gift with us.

    Lord,

We humbly ask for a peace that only You can provide to over come this family’s heart.

    Eric Lang says:

I wish I could share what I feel in my heart for your family, but no words could ever describe it properly. ‘Little Eric’ was a great person that I was honored to call my nephew in the time given to us by God and I still cherish every memory with him and his siblings. He was a notably bright individual with a kind soul and always willing be there for others, and he was an amazing older brother, and a proud son to Christopher and LaToya. I am truly sorry to hear about this unexpected tragedy, but I can only pray that you guys find some peace and if there is anything I could do to help, as always, I am still here to offer it, as long as it is welcomed from me to do so. My love for the kids has never faded. My heart goes out to all of you.

    Melissa K Wilberding says:

May you fine comfort in God’s love and the memories of Eric.

    Billy & Emy Kolander says:

You all out in our hearts and prayers.
We met Eric at TPC, several years ago. Then Billy had the honor of teaching him his sophomore and junior years.
It’s rare to feel a genuine admiration of one so young, but Eric was the embodiment of what a genuine, good, human being should look like. He earned that respect.
Again, you all are in our hearts and prayers.
    Peace be with you.
