Charles Anderson

Charles Robert Anderson, 64, of Kountze, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He was born on October 20, 1953, in Artesia, New Mexico, to Billie Marie and Robert Junior Anderson. Charles retired as a pipefitter and a welder.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Phyllis Anderson; children, Jennifer Curry and her husband, Steve Curry, of Vidor; John Robert Anderson and his wife, Kelby, of Kountze; and Jessica Celine Anderson and her fiancé, Devan Hood, of Lumberton; brothers, Tim Anderson, of Kountze and Andy Anderson, of Louisiana; aunt, Emma Anderson, of Woodville; and grandchildren, Caylee Curry, Emma and JR Anderson, and Jaythenn Hood; mother, Billie Anderson, of Kountze; sisters, Reba Jordan and her husband, Mike and Brenda Higgins and her husband, Joe, both of Longview; and Tori Fulgam and her husband, Otis, of Kountze; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.

Charles is preceded in death by his father; brother, Lynn Anderson; and many aunts and uncles.

A graveside service for Mr. Anderson will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017, at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.
