Henry Allen Coe, Jr., 92, of Kountze, died Thursday, December 21, 2017. He was born on March 4, 1925, in Kountze, to Mary Kathleen Crews Coe and Henry Allen Coe, Sr. Henry served in the United States Army during World War II, he later retired as an attorney.

Survivors include his children, Laura Coe of Pinehust; Bebe Bertino and her husband, David, of Nome; and Henry Allen Coe, III “Bugs “of Kountze; grandchildren, Kelli Barnett and her husband, Rusty, of Conroe; and Cooper Alyn Coe and Kitty D. Coe, both of Kountze; and great-grandchild, Korbyn Barnett, of Conroe. Henry is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Willa Dee Brown Coe; and sister, Virginia Hart.

A gathering of Mr. Coe’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Hooks Cemetery, Kountze.
