Alice Dill
Alice Faye Dill, 77, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on December 30, 1940, in Evadale, to Mertha Estelle Capps and Miller L. Harris.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-seven years, Charles Everett Dill; children, Jan Whittington and her husband, Charles Wayne, of Kountze; Mike Colley and Dennis Colley, both of Silsbee; grandchildren, Daniel Gallion, Corey Livingston, Justin Colley, Kent and Scott Dill, and Victoria Colley; great-grandchildren, Brittany Hammer, Dylan Gallion, Layla Livingston, Nevaeh Livingston, Madison Livingston, and Edward Bohanan; great-great-grandchild, Mason Hammer; sisters, Hazel Gore, Bernice Huddler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, her step-son, Kent Dill, Sr.; daughter, Linda K. Hollyfield; sister, Minnie Gore; and brother, Lloyd Harris.
A gathering of Mrs. Dill’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2018, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.

Uncle Charlie: Steven and I are keeping you in our prayers. I so enjoyed Alice from the first time we met. Please take care of you and know you are loved. Rejoice in the knowledge that we will all be together again...what a wonderful reunion that will be! God Bless....sending hugs.
